Please note: No one will ever be turned away from becoming a member due to an inability to pay. Please contact us and we can create a solution. Our intention is that everyone has the opportunity to have the connection and support that membership of Mipham Shedra can provide.

Membership Benefits

As a Member you become an integral part of our Sangha and its blessing. Further, you help to support our teachers and the financial operations. Here are some of the activities and benefits available to Members. Membership benefits include:
  1. Support to preserve and promote the practice and teachings of Mipham Shedra.
  2. Support for your meditation practice and other Dharma activities.
  3. Access to Lhoppon Rechung for questions about your practice.
  4. Certificate of membership upon request.
  5. Members receive advance notification of visiting teachers and classes
  6. A 15% discount on scheduled Buddhist seminars with visiting teachers.
  7. Special preferences when arranging personal religious services such as weddings, funerals and memorial services.
  8. All members are recognized in the yearly final report.
  9. Premium benefits for Founder, Patron, and Benefactor level include:

    Calligraphy membership certificates by Lhoppon Rechung upon request, as well as premium seating, if requested, at all teachings

    We kindly ask that those interested in membership commit to a year.

    How to Pay Your Dues Please make your checks out to the Mipham Shedra and mark it for Membership Dues. These may be paid annually, semi annually, or in monthly installments. The fiscal year of the shedra runs from January 1st through December 31st. The deadline for paying dues for a given year is November 30th of that year.
