Lhoppon: First of all as I have requested of you many times, our hope and wish is that you come to visit Mipham Shedra in Boulder.
HH Penor Rinpoche: Ok.
Lhoppon: This time we have a few people here. A few more people planned to come and because of circumstance were unable to come. We have more people in Mipham Shedra in Boulder. For all of us together, please give us one short teaching. I am recording here, and then I will take this recording back to Mipham Shedra to play in front of all the students.
HH: Ok.
Lhoppon: Here I am not planning to translate, but will do it later.
HH: Ok.
Ok, thank you very much and Tashi Delek to all the students. That you are able to practice the Dharma at this time is the result of the accumulated merit from infinite lifetimes. Generally there are many religions in the world, but those who follow the Lord Buddha are taking action to end samsara. In that, planting the seed of the Buddha Dharma and practicing it in your life is a great merit, therefore I appreciate you. In doing that, when you practice Dharma bodhicitta is important. All-pervading sentient beings, all are our parents without exception....
....therefore when they were our parents, they were only kind to us. In order to achieve ultimate happiness for all sentient beings, the important thing is that one should first generate aspirational bodhicitta, then application bodhicitta, and engage in the six paramitas practice them one after another. May you please do it this way. Generally, there is not flourishing nor weakening in Buddha Dharma, but at this time from sentient beings [exhaustion of] merit Buddha Dharma is weakening slightly. In this kind of time, that we are able to be born as a follower of the Buddha Dharma is [due to] our previous merit and aspirational prayers. In accordance with merit, without having any ego and with sincerity and generating vast bodhicitta, abandon the selfish attitude of thinking for one's own happiness, health and comfort. Instead of this, if you practice the Buddha Dharma thinking of achieving relative and ultimate benefit for mother sentient beings, then that will be meaningful and beneficial Dharma. After generating bodhicitta, one should not think that this Buddha Dharma will not benefit because it is not seen or doesn't appear. Because, if you have bodhicitta for the benefiting others deep in your heart, one's own precious human birth also becomes a meaningful life. One can also benefit again and again all-pervading mother sentient beings. Thinking all of this, carefully practice the Buddha Dharma as much as you can. In this lifetime, if you miss practicing Dharma, then again when you wander in samsara you will experience infinite suffering. Therefore, through hearing and practicing this Buddha Dharma one must eliminate the sufferings of samsara one after another and benefit others. Therefore, please practice carefully. Now here, also Lhoppon himself through having done authentic study has arisen vast bodhicitta for the benefit of other sentient beings. Likewise, because of that, you should also practice carefully. You should especially be concerned about the cause and result of karma. If you think today I can do whatever I want to do, the result of that negative karma will only be suffering in the end. Therefore, be careful with karma. So, one should not have ego.
The metal ball of ego will never contain any knowledge.
With ego, one cannot accomplish any work. No matter big or small, any kind of ego should be eliminated because it is not needed. This is the cause of one's own failure. Whatever Dharma you practice, if you practice through faith, devotion and pure perception, then that practice will become powerful. Please practice carefully. No matter how long you practice, one hour and so on, again and again after each session dedicate the merit for all mother sentient beings to be liberated from the suffering of samsara. Then, if it is done in this way you will get some benefit. Generally, he (Lhoppon) is already giving advice and teaching you how to practice. Keep those teachings and advice in your mind and without any ego receive teachings with faith and devotion and practice. Now there is nothing more to say. Thank you very much.

HH: Seven Line Prayer and Benzar Guru Mantra
Always recite the Seven Line Prayer continually (every day) and pray to Guru Rinpoche, then temporary obstacles will be purified and ultimate happiness will be attained though the compassion and blessings of Guru Rinpoche. If you don't have wisdom, then wisdom will arise in your heart
